ALEXANDRA RAMUNNI
Instructor
AURORE SMITH
Instructor
Having started gymnastics and jazz at a very young age, sports and dance have always been part of my life. In 1995, I became captivated by both indoor and outdoor rock climbing.
In 2017 I discovered Pilates at my gym. I was immediately hooked ! The instructor encouraged me to get certified as a Pilates instructor, and two years later, I started teaching Pilates Barre. I now have certificates in Pilates Matwork, Barre, Pilates for Pregnant Women, for Seniors and Post-Therapy Pilates.
Although I love teaching people of all ages, my particular fascination is in Pilates for people over 50, seniors, and post-therapy Pilates.

ÁFRICA RUFETE BUCK
Instructor
At 16 I moved to London to pursue my dreams as a dancer. I completed my Contemporary Dance degree at Trinity Laban. Laban movement analysis (LMA), based on the original work of Rudolf Laban, is a method and language for describing, visualising, interpreting and documenting human movement. Studying Laban has allowed me to “connect” more with movement; I no longer have to remember dance steps. Rather, LMA has given me the tools to understand movement as a language to be interpreted in space and time.
As I embraced the 34 Pilates exercises, I became motivated to pursue the L3 Matwork Pilates at HFE Fitness Training Program. My personal Pilates practice was no longer simply doing the exercises as a preparation for dance, but rather an exercise in understanding the ABC’s of movement.
My pedagogical goal is not only for people to benefit physically by better understanding movement, but also to instil a sense of enjoyment in their movement experience.
HANNAH VIGIL-SHUCK
Instructor
My passion for the Pilates method comes from my deep rooted belief that movement is medicine. I strive to help my students build strength, mobility, and a stronger mind-body connection with every session. I care deeply about creating welcoming environments that encourage self-love, improve stress levels, and promote body positivity in my classes. I believe movement is for everyone and can drastically change our lives for the better.
My journey in the Pilates world began as I searched for ways to better manage my Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) diagnosis– after being in the care of incredible instructors and seeing firsthand how a strong pilates practice was improving my health and my life overall, I discovered a passion for introducing others to the method and teaching mindful movement. I want to create an environment where anyone will walk away from my class feeling curious and excited about Pilates and how it can affect the body in the most positive ways. I recently completed the Mat Instructor intensive with Balanced Body, and continue to work toward becoming a fully comprehensive and certified instructor.
When I’m not in the studio, you can find me baking, squealing over a romance novel, or trying to catch up on the latest episodes of One Piece. I am also a freelance digital illustrator and love storytelling.
